When Trish came out we drove to Al Aqaa for a weekend of luxury. Northwards out of Al Ain on the busy Dubai road, then exiting to quieter roads through Madam, Al Zaid, Masafi (curse of the speed bumps) skirting Dibba to arrive at the Indian Ocean.
Hot, as expected, humid, not expected! Great suite - two balconies, two bathrooms, kitchen. living room, great food. The only downer was the fact that the beach has specks of oil on it. Nearby Fujairah is a very busy oil tanker terminal and the source of the problem.
